Startupbootcamp Amsterdam si sposta nella sede di Vodafone Olanda
26/01/12 - Milano – Vodafone Olanda aprirà l’intero sesto piano della propria sede di Amsterdam nella zona Oosterdokseiland agli imprenditori. Un prerequisito importante sarà quello di avere un’affinità dimostrabile con internet e la tecnologia mobile, oltre a possedere un focus sull’innovazione. Startupbootcamp è la prima ad usufruire di questa opportunità. Questo progetto triennale paneuropeo offre ai nuovi tech-imprenditori capitale d’avviamento, uffici e mentorship.
“With our participation in and as main sponsor of Startupbootcamp, we aim to support the start-up community in a tangible way at a time that is economically challenging for them”, says Jens Schulte-Bockum, CEO at Vodafone Netherlands. “Apart from offering an inspiring working environment, we also provide commencing entrepreneurs with our know-how and skills through the mentor programme. Besides, we also benefit in a major way: we literally invite innovation into our offices. I am convinced that these collateral benefits will lead to increased technological innovation.”
Opportunity for commencing tech-entrepreneurs
Startupbootcamp is the only pan-European start-up accelerator programme. In the Netherlands, the project was initiated by media and tech-entrepreneurs Ruud Hendriks and Patrick de Zeeuw. For the next three years, Startupbootcamp will yearly offer ten commencing tech-entrepreneurs from around the world the opportunity the build or expand their business. In exchange for a share participation, the chosen entrepreneurs each receive a start-up capital of € 17,000, three to six months free office space at Vodafone’s headquarters, legal and fiscal assistance and intensive mentoring by more than a hundred national and international individuals, who are each experts in their subject area. Startupbootcamp will be up and running as of 9 April 2012, entrepreneurs can register until 12 February 2012.
